The Solar panel is for outdoor use only where the lights automatically turn on at dusk and turn off after 6 hours max. The Plug can be used indoors or outdoors but the battery is for indoor use only. 4 x AA batteries required (not included). Built-in timer: 6 hours on, 18 hours off.
