Locale Welcomes Elite Model and Caribbean Influencer Alyshia Miller Powell as Brand Ambassador

You might have noticed a cameo from Asafa Powell and his radiant wife, Alyshia Miller Powell, in the MoDA Market promo video. No? We got you! Check it out below.

This is just the first of many fun collaborations to come, as Locale welcomes Alyshia Miller Powell as official brand ambassador.

Both Alyshia and her husband, who have over 500,000 followers between them on Instagram alone, have been building a loyal fanbase with their podcast, “Fast Lane Lifestyle”. With season one already a hit and season two on the way, fans can find the entertaining episodes on their favourite podcast platform, including Google Podcasts and Apple Podcasts, or on the couple’s Youtube page.

Tune in on your commute or while relaxing at home for a raw and unfiltered take on the life of the not-so-ordinary couple as they take on the ups and the downs together, while giving the audience a candid look into their perfectly imperfect life.

With Alyshia’s status as a fashion personality signed to Elite Model Management, the partnership was an easy choice for Locale and for the model as well.

“When Locale reached out to me, I was so excited because I used to shop at KERRYmanwomanhome before it merged into Locale, and I was such a fan of the boutique. Everything just connected organically, so I’m looking forward to seeing what kinds of content we can create together,” Alyshia shared.

Along with styling the brown-skinned beauty for her whirlwind life in the spotlight, there are also talks about doing some “Fast Lane Lifestyle” recordings at Locale.

“Locale’s aesthetic is definitely complementary to my own style. And I think for anyone who values quality products and fashion, there is something here for you. MoDA is really like a one-stop shop for me. Even the fashion is so varied. You can find a look here for any occasion, and the store also has this cute little cocktail and coffee nook where you can just kick back while you wait for your treatment at the medical spa, chat, sip, browse, shop. It really is a one-of-a-kind experience. Just being here gets my inner goddess glowing,” she gushed at the Locale’s pre-MoDA Market fashion showcase which introduced the four international designers showcasing their collections at MoDA Market 2023.

Alyshia was styled in a regal number from Korto Momolu’s exquisite new collection, inspired by the transition from grief back to joy again after her father’s passing in July. Her Tribe Aesthetic accessories, which are created by Momulo’s go-to style partner, Bruce Brown, will also be available at MoDA Market from today (Nov 17) to Sunday, November 19.

“Season two of 'Fast Lane Lifestyle' will be coming out soon, and of course, we’ll keep our followers posted. For the next season, we want to continue our conversation on life and spreading positivity while exploring topics that can add that rich complexity to our lives, like mental health and marriage. Everything is raw and unfiltered with us, and hopefully, we’ll get to do some recordings at Locale,” Mrs. Miller Power added.
