Updated: Apr 5, 2023

Locale is a first-of-its-kind concept store in the region. We merged the mindful merchandising of KERRY manwomanhome with the collaborative, artisan-focused branding of MoDa Market, and DBGlow Skin’s renowned rejuvenation practice, ALL UNDER ONE ROOF!

And behind every great idea is a great mind. In this case, three seasoned business leaders who blazed their own trail in disparate fields.

KERRY manwomanhome

Kerry-Ann Clarke started KERRY manwomanhome, a lifestyle boutique with a mission to serve the Jamaican luxury market through a thoughtfully curated selection of products. The success of KERRY manwomanhome highlights an essential aspect of Locale’s vision: with the right support, the Caribbean marketplace can become its own thriving ecosystem!

Pussbackfoot

Pussbackfoot, a full-service event boutique based in Kingston, is the brainchild of Aiesha Panton. Panton is a creative powerhouse, and you will see her genius for design and staging when you visit our store or join us for an event. Panton and Clarke are the main collaborators on MoDA Market, which originally started as a weekend-long pop-up market experience promoting local creators, and is now housed permanently at Locale. The mission? Build Local, Brand Global!

DBGlow Skin

Dr Dainia Baugh is an internationally renowned skincare expert with over two (2) decades of expertise. Dr Baugh’s practice goes beyond skin deep as she and her team of experts work closely with clients to reconcile inner beauty with outer glow. After a session with the master herself, our customers can take home Baugh’s ageless wisdom by shopping her skincare line, Everyday Skin, at our store!

Now you know the brains behind the business. Next time you’re in New Kingston, come say hello!
